Born and raised in Marianna, FL, Mike and Pat Harris built a life in a little country town surrounded by pine trees on the Soggy Bottom Plantation. After retiring from their jobs, they both decided to follow their love of cooking and open a catering business. They decided to build a barn that would be home to their catering kitchen and where they would spend their time making made-from-scratch cakes, homemade yeast rolls, dips, snacks, and other foods. Two years after starting on the barn from the foundation up, they finished the beautiful cedar barn and named it none other than "Soggy Bottom Plantation Catering". One of their biggest joys is making good food and seeing people enjoy it. They love meeting new people and sharing their love of good food with others.
